Your order is roasted fresh, cooled and placed into it’s packaging. If your order contains Cones, the cones are placed into zip lock packages. Bulk nuts are roasted, cooled and placed into zip lock packages. The Nutty Bavarian Nuts are best when consumed within 6 months from the date your order is shipped. Though we’re sure they wont be around that long 🙂
Your nuts can be served as is, or you can warm them prior to serving to have that fresh-roasted sensation. Instructions for reheating:
NOTE: No matter what method you use, do not allow the sugar to melt! This will cause the flavor to change and the nuts to taste ‘burned’. Rule of thumb: Once you start to smell the nuts, they are close to being done. Once they’re heated to your preference, remove and allow them to cool for a minimum of 5 minutes before serving. Hot sugar can burn the skin and mouth!
Microwave: On a microwave safe plate, place a sheet of parchment paper on it and place the nuts on it in a single layer. Microwave on HIGH for 20 to 30 seconds. Check the nuts and mix them around and repeat the previous step until you’re happy with the warmth. WARNING: Overheating the nuts can cause burns to the skin and mouth.
Toaster Oven: Place the nuts on parchment paper on a flat tray. Place the nuts in a single layer and place in a pre-heated toaster oven at 175 degrees F. Check them every 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overheat.
Oven: Pre-heat oven to 350. Place the nuts on a layer of parchment paper on a oven safe pan. Check the nuts at 4 to 5 minutes and only bake them for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overheat.
Stove Top: On low-medium heat, place the nuts in a pan and stir gently until warm. Do not allow the nuts to sit long in the pan without stirring. Again, do not overheat.
